Key Insights

1. Increased Time for Meaningful Work

Nearly 9 out of 10 people (87%) say automation saves them time, particularly in tedious or mundane tasks. This time savings allows workers to focus on meaningful, deep-thought work or collaboration. Also, 83% of workers say that automation eliminates busy work, enabling them to operate at their highest potential.

2. Building Workplace Relationships

81% of respondents report building positive relationships and connections with coworkers is crucial for overall job satisfaction. We found that workers with strong workplace relationships are more likely to use automation daily.

3. Productivity and Quality of Work

Automation tools not only boost productivity but also improve the quality of work. More than 1 in 3 people (38%) report being able to focus more on business-critical work, and nearly one-third (28%) feel more creative due to the time saved by automation.

4. Collaboration and Innovation

Automation is helping bring teams together for collaboration, connection, and innovation. 33% of respondents report that they innovate more with their team, and 70% have observed positive changes in collaboration and innovation since adopting automation tools.

5. The Automation Opportunity

While many companies utilize automation, there is still an education gap. 45% of respondents reported that their company actively encourages the use of automation technology and teaches new ways to implement it. However, 38% said their company encourages automation but does not provide adequate training.
