How Denver Summit FC Built a World-Class Fan Experience from a Blank Slate with Workato

With zero infrastructure and just weeks before launch, Denver Summit FC built an enterprise-grade operation and sold out 15,000 season tickets, all powered by Workato and Jump.

Starting from a Blank Slate

At the beginning of the year there wasn’t a single system in place within the Denver Summit FC organization. No CRM. No HR. No payroll. Not even an employee database.

“The reality was we had nothing,” Chris said. “We were a new organization with big ambitions and no technology stack.”

With the club’s season ticket launch only weeks away, the pressure was on to stand up a world-class fan experience and the operations to support it, all without adding overhead.

Building the Foundation for Scale

Denver Summit FC started with a single goal: build a scalable foundation for growth using Workato’s low-code orchestration platform and Jump Ticketing.

The challenge was steep, by October 1, Summit needed a fully functional system capable of managing deposits, processing payments, and syncing fan data across applications.

From a blank page to full automation, the team built integrations connecting Jump Ticketing, Salesforce, and sales tools, all orchestrated through a single platform.

“We wanted something low-code and intuitive, something business users could run themselves. With Workato, we could build, test, and iterate without heavy developer lift.”

Within three weeks, the club went from concept to live systems.

15,000 Fans, Fully Automated

On October 6, Denver Summit FC began converting season ticket deposits into full season ticket purchases on the Jump platform. Within two weeks, the club sold out, processing more than 15,000 season ticket conversions.

Jump enabled roughly 80% of those conversions to be completed without assistance, while Workato orchestrated the real-time movement of data behind the scenes. This combination gave the ticketing team full visibility into every transaction as it happened, allowing them to focus their time and expertise on the 20% of fans who needed hands-on support.

As each season ticket purchase was completed in Jump, Workato automatically synchronized the data with Salesforce, creating or updating fan profiles and ensuring accuracy across systems. With end-to-end visibility into the conversion process, the team could track activity in real time, quickly identify exceptions, and scale operations with confidence—without manual data entry or bottlenecks.

A Platform for Continuous Growth

Now that the initial launch is complete, the team is using Workato to expand automation across the business, from marketing operations and lead generation to HR and payroll.

Custom mapping connects the redesigned website’s lead forms directly into Salesforce through Workato, enabling faster fan engagement and more accurate data capture.

“Workato gives us control and transparency,” Chris said. “We can build custom reports, enforce best practices, and iterate quickly, something that’s critical for a growing organization like ours.”

With visibility baked into every workflow, Summit can scale responsibly, maintaining transparency, governance, and speed as fan engagement grows.

Looking Ahead

From no systems to a fully orchestrated tech stack in under a month, Denver Summit FC has built more than an operational foundation, they’ve built a blueprint for how modern sports organizations can scale.

“Workato and Jump let us launch like a world-class franchise with zero overhead,” Chris said. “We started with nothing and now we’re ready for everything.”
