Recipe Copilot now includes Recipe Sketches, allowing users to generate a visual outline of recipes based on input. The sketch includes apps, actions, and steps, helping accelerate recipe creation by giving builders a clear starting point to refine, accept, or build iteratively. This feature available to all customers using Recipe Copilot.

Recipe-powered dropdowns allow you to dynamically retrieve and display data from any source using recipes. This new capability allows you to:

– Connect to and retrieve data from virtually any source as a recipe data source
– Load dropdown options in real time, reflecting the latest data
– Ensure secure integration for safe and reliable data retrieval
– Apply filters and custom input parameters to tailor dropdown options
– Enable typeahead mode to narrow down options as users type

Workspace admins can now manage collaborators from any environment, improving the overall workflow. This new feature provides admins a unified view and control over all collaborators across all environments.

The SAP OData Connector now supports bypassing SAML2/SSO authentication for non-SAP users or system-type users connecting via OAuth2. This enhancement simplifies integration in SAML2.0 setups by allowing bypass authentication for non-federated users, ensuring seamless connectivity while maintaining governance and compliance. This update provides greater flexibility for integration scenarios where users establishing connections in Workato may not have direct SAP access.

Workato now supports closed-source connector sharing (CodeGuard Sharing) for approved ISV partners. CodeGuard Sharing gives our partners more control while expanding our connector ecosystem with valuable new integrations. This new capability provides:

• More connectors: Access a wider range of integrations, including those with proprietary systems.
• Streamlined collaboration: Leverage partner expertise to connect to specialized applications

In August 2024, key updates include the EDI by Workato connector now supporting X12 document formats for seamless data exchange, and AI by Workato introducing default settings to disable AI in child workspaces. Workato Data Tables added new navigation links and improved handling of null file objects. We're excited to unveil our latest updates in the Workato community for August 2024! This month, we’ve added several new connectors, including FHIR for healthcare data interoperability, Wasabi for cost-effective cloud storage, e-Gov for accessing Japanese government services, Inriver for product information management, Salesforce Data Cloud for unified customer data, and Apollo.io for sales engagement. OPA has been updated with new SAP and security capabilities:

• SAP: Aligned order of fields in RFC_READ_TABLE requests for compatibility with legacy SAP systems.
• Security: Updated libraries according to the OWASP scanner recommendations.
