Intermediate Messages & Persistent Tool Call Feedback — Slack
Genies in Slack show end users exactly what's happening — step by step — while processing their requests. Tool calls are paired with real-time, collapsible stream of Genie actions in plain language, replacing confusing internal monologue with clear, contextualized feedback.
- Intermediate Messages Always Shown — Any response-relevant content the LLM returns is surfaced in Slack and Test Mode, ensuring full parity with what the Genie intends to communicate.
- Persistent Tool Call Stream — Intermediate messages are accompanied by real-time streams of the Genie's actions, providing full observability over every step taken in response to a query.
- Collapsible Streams — Users can collapse any Tool Call Stream to reduce visual clutter — it keeps running in the background and can be expanded at any time.
- Human-Readable Tool Labels — Internal tools like KB search and file analysis display plain-language labels (e.g. "Searching knowledge base [My KB] for [query]…") instead of raw function names, ensuring that they are human readable and understandable.

VUA Connection Flow — Streamlined OAuth UX
Connecting to Workato MCP Servers with Verified User Access is faster and friction-free. The connection flow auto-routes users directly to the third-party OAuth screen and auto-closes the VUA window once all connections are granted — putting users straight back in their MCP client.
- Auto-Redirect to OAuth — When an MCP server requires a single VUA connection, users go straight to the app's OAuth consent screen after Workato ID authentication — no intermediate landing page.
- Auto-Close on Completion — The VUA window closes automatically once all required connections are granted, returning users to their MCP client without any manual steps.
- Clean Failure Handling — Denied consent or failed OAuth redirects back to the MCP client with a structured error response, so users are never left stranded.
- Clearer UI Copy — The "Close window" button is renamed to "Cancel connection" to accurately reflect the action and reduce drop-off.

Workato Identity Branding Now Available
Workato Identity is now brandable. Builders can customize the sign-in and connection experience with their own logo, favicon, app name, colors, and help text — so end users see a login and consent flow that reflects the customer's product, not Workato's.
- Custom Logo, Favicon & App Name — Uploaded logo renders on the Identity login and VUA connection pages; custom favicon appears in the browser tab; app name replaces "Workato" across the entire flow.
- Custom Colors & Help Text — Accent, font, and background colors carry across the full login and consent flow, with Markdown-supported help text for SSO instructions, support contacts, or consent context.
- Cleaner VUA Copy for MCP — The connection page reads "Connect your accounts to use [MCP Server Name]" so end users know exactly which server they're authorizing.
- Configured in One Place — All branding lives under Workspace Admin → Access Control → Login Experience.

Native Channel Support for Genies — Microsoft Teams
Genies can operate natively in Microsoft Teams channels, completing the channel story started with Slack. Deploy Genies for IT help desks, HR support, and project assistance directly inside the Teams channels where employees already work.
- On-Mention Mode — Genies respond when @mentioned in a channel, configured independently per Genie across standard, private, and shared channels.
- Native Teams Channel Picker — Channels surface as TeamName / ChannelName so builders can easily disambiguate channels with the same name across different Teams.
- Authenticated Actions In-Channel — Workato Identity login uses a Teams-native button → modal flow via Adaptive Cards, ensuring the right person approves every action.
- Full Thread Context & User Attribution — Genies see the entire thread, know who said what, handle files attached in-thread, and auto-summarize long threads for full context parity with DMs.

Data Pipelines: Expanded Connectivity, Observability, and Enterprise-Grade Features
Data Pipelines connectivity just got a serious upgrade — with expanded sources and destinations, smarter replication, enhanced visibility, and enterprise-grade security built for scale.
- Expanded Connectivity — Sources now include Salesforce, NetSuite, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, Google Drive, HubSpot, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle, and many more. New destinations include Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server On-Prem.
- Smarter Replication — Automatic schema drift handling, full CDC and incremental sync with deleted record detection, parallel object execution, and auto-error recovery keep pipelines running without manual intervention.
- Visibility & Control — A centralized pipeline dashboard with object-level monitoring and selective resyncs lets teams isolate and fix issues without rerunning entire pipelines.
- Enterprise Security & Flexibility — Built-in data masking, custom cron-based scheduling, source filtering, concurrency controls, and schema-based destination organization give teams full control over how data moves.
- Workato-Native Orchestration — The PipelineOps trigger automatically kicks off downstream recipes the moment data lands, closing the loop between data movement and action.

Korea Data Center — Now Available
Workato's Korea Data Center is live in Seoul (AWS ap-northeast-2), giving Korean enterprises full in-country data residency and removing the last barrier for organizations navigating Korea's data protection requirements.
- All customer data is processed and stored exclusively in Seoul — fully meeting Korean data sovereignty requirements.
- Full platform parity at launch — RLCM, On-prem Agent, RBAC, SAML SSO, EKM, External Secret Sources, Data Masking,
- Enterprise MCP, Data Pipelines, and Decision Models available from day one.
- AI and Agentic features — including Workato GO, Agent Studio, Copilots, AIRO, and IDP by Workato — coming soon.

New in Data Tables: Import CSV
Bulk-load data into Data Tables directly from a CSV file — no more row-by-row entry or recipe-based seeding. A guided three-step wizard makes it simple to get a fully populated table from day one.
- Drop in a CSV, review the auto-detected schema, confirm, and land on a populated table — in three steps.
Seed starter datasets instantly, cutting Data Table creation time significantly during initial implementation. - Migrate Lookup Table content into Data Tables in just two steps, unlocking a clear path off Lookup Tables entirely.

Genies, Skills & Knowledge Bases — Now Available Across the Workspace
Genies, Skills, and Knowledge Bases are no longer confined to a single project. Builders can assemble Genies from any asset across the entire workspace — eliminating duplication and the copy-paste workarounds that slowed teams down.
- Cross-Project Skills & KBs — Add Skills and attach Knowledge Bases from any project in the workspace to power Genies wherever they live.
- Cross-Project Events & Tasks — Recipes can send app events to and assign tasks to Genies across different projects, with no project boundary restrictions.
- Cross-Project Knowledge Writes — Knowledge recipes can store data to KBs living in other projects, keeping a single source of truth across the workspace.
- Move Assets Freely — Skills, KBs, and Genies can be moved between projects without breaking any existing links.

Native Channel Support for Genies — Slack
Genies can operate natively in Slack channels — not just DMs. Deploy Genies for IT help desks, HR support, and project assistance directly inside the channels where teams already work.
- Two Channel Modes — Help Desk Mode responds to every message in selected channels; On-Mention Mode responds only when @mentioned, giving builders the right behavior per use case.
- Full Thread Context & User Attribution — Genies see the entire thread, know who said what, and auto-summarize long threads to stay in context.
- Authenticated Actions In-Channel — Workato Identity login via ephemeral messages and user-validated confirmation modals ensure the right person approves every action.
- Builder-Controlled Channel Scope — Builders select exactly which Slack channels a Genie responds in, with a clear error shown if a Genie is added to a non-configured channel.
- Safe by Design — Multi-Genie loop protection, rate limits, race-condition handling, and streaming progress updates keep interactions reliable and transparent.
