New limits for the Project/Environment property
New limits for project and environment properties are now live in Workato, offering more flexibility and easier management.
- Environment properties: increased from 100 → 1,000
- Project properties: increased from 200 per environment → 1,000 per project (up to 2,000 total per recipe!)
- Property names are now limited to 100 characters; values to 1,024 characters.
- Attempts to update properties beyond the new length limits will result in an error message.
- Workspaces with existing properties above the new length limits receive custom ones to prevent disruption. They will be reset to defaults on September 1, 2025, unless exceptions were approved through a CSM.
