Oracle EBS

Enhancement

We’ve enhanced the Oracle EBS connector by adding support for Business Events through a new webhook trigger, alongside a revamped ‘Execute PL/SQL operation’ action. Users can leverage Business Events to automate workflows based on real-time Oracle EBS activities and benefit from improved performance and usability in PL/SQL operations. This expansion provides greater integration flexibility and streamlines Oracle EBS automation for enterprise users.

NetSuite REST

Enhancement

We’ve introduced upsert record capability to the NetSuite REST connector, enabling create-or-update operations by external ID. Users can seamlessly synchronize records with NetSuite using external identifiers, eliminating the need for separate create and update logic. This enhancement simplifies data management workflows and improves integration efficiency.

Enhancement

We’ve improved error handling during the connection setup process with detailed, actionable error messages. Users can quickly understand and resolve connection issues when they arise, thanks to clear explanations of any problems encountered. This enhancement accelerates troubleshooting and reduces time spent on connection configuration.

Workday

Enhancement

We’ve upgraded Workday connector support to version 45.1, which includes “Add Additional Job” functionality for contingent workers. Users can streamline the management of contingent workforce by adding supplementary job assignments directly through the platform. This enhancement enables more efficient contingent worker administration within Workday integrations.

Xero

Enhancement

We’ve refined the Xero connection settings by removing ‘Accounting.attachments’ and ‘Accounting.attachments.read’ scopes from advanced configuration options. Users with existing connections utilizing these scopes will experience no disruption, as all current configurations remain fully functional. This update aligns the connector with our partner’s latest requirements while preserving existing functionality.

Facebook and Facebook Lead Ads

Enhancement

We’ve upgraded the Facebook and Facebook Lead Ads connectors from version v22.0 to v24.0. Users can take advantage of the latest Facebook API capabilities and improvements, ensuring continued compatibility and access to new features. This upgrade keeps integrations aligned with Facebook’s supported API versions and maintains reliable connectivity.

QuickBooks

Enhancement

We’ve updated all “Search…” actions in the QuickBooks connector to align with current API capabilities. Users can leverage the most up-to-date sorting options supported by QuickBooks, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility. This refinement maintains seamless integration with QuickBooks’ evolving API standards.

Azure Blob Storage

Enhancement

We’ve expanded the Azure Blob Storage connector to support external secrets manager integration for the Client ID field in OAuth 2 Client Credentials. Users can leverage external key vaults like Azure Key Vault to securely manage authentication credentials. This enhancement strengthens security practices and provides centralized secrets management for Azure Blob connections.

Azure OpenAI

Enhancement

We’ve introduced OAuth2 authentication support to the Azure OpenAI Connector, offering users flexible authentication options. Users can choose between API token and OAuth2 authentication methods based on their security requirements, with seamless token refresh logic ensuring uninterrupted service. This enhancement provides an additional security layer and accommodates diverse authentication preferences across organizations.

HTTP Digest Authentication

Enhancement

We’ve refactored HTTP Digest Authentication to support modern hashing algorithms and comply with RFC 7616 standards. Users can benefit from enhanced security through support for MD5, SHA-256, SHA-256-sess, SHA-512, and SHA-512-sess algorithms, along with both ‘auth’ and ‘auth-int’ quality-of-protection values. Additionally, we have included built-in retry logic for 401 Unauthorized responses when a WWW-Authenticate header is present. This modernization ensures robust, standards-compliant authentication with built-in retry logic for seamless connection management.

PGP

Bug Fix

We’ve resolved intermittent errors in the Encrypt data action of PGP Tools by Workato. Users can reliably encrypt data without experiencing disruptions.

Oracle Fusion

Bug Fix

We’ve updated mapping for the Submit ESS Job Request action, improving job submissions and eliminating parameter mapping issues in Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.

Salesforce

Bug Fix

We’ve enhanced the Bulk Upsert action to support increased row and field sizes. This allows you to migrate more data to Salesforce in single jobs, streamlining bulk data operations.

OpenAI

Bug Fix

We’ve enhanced the OpenAI connector by adding an optional base_url connection field, enabling flexible custom API endpoint configuration. Users can specify regional base URLs, such as us.api.openai.com for US data residency needs, supporting compliance with data locality policies. This update offers greater flexibility for projects with specific geographic or regulatory requirements.

Data Pipelines

Bug Fix

We’ve improved the connection logic for Amazon S3 credentials in Data Pipelines. Users can successfully create objects in Amazon S3 using source folder paths and file patterns without encountering errors. This fix streamlines data pipeline configuration and ensures reliable S3 integration.

Bug Fix

We’ve enhanced schema inference to provide clear error messaging for unsupported file encodings. Users receive an explicit error message—”Schema could not be inferred. File encoding is not supported. Expected UTF-8.”—when uploading files in Shift JIS, Big5, or Windows-1252 encoding, preventing confusion from blank schemas. This improvement ensures users understand encoding requirements and can take appropriate action.

Bug Fix

We’ve corrected the rows extracted and rows loaded count display in the data pipeline’s Runs section. Users can ensure accurate row count metrics for seamless monitoring pipeline performance and data processing.

Knowledge Bases

Bug Fix

We’ve expanded Knowledge Base (KB) selection in recipes to include all KBs within the parent project. Users can select any Knowledge Base from their project when adding the Store Knowledge action, regardless of folder location. This enhancement improves flexibility and efficiency when building AI-powered workflows.

AI By Workato

Bug Fix

We’ve updated the Parse Text action to return null values for fields that cannot be identified from the provided content. This update applies to both Azure OpenAI and AI by Workato Parse Text actions and improves downstream data processing.

MS Dynamics

Bug Fix

We’ve improved file upload functionality in Dynamics 365 custom actions. Users can upload .jpeg files into File columns in Dataverse tables seamlessly. This ensures efficient file management in Microsoft Dynamics integrations.

Workato IDP Orchestration

Enhancement

We’ve introduced improvements to Workato IDP Orchestration with enhanced document processing capabilities. Users benefit from advanced schema generation, batch processing, Azure OCR integration, intelligent table selection, automated code generation and execution, and robust fallback mechanisms. This enhancement delivers improved performance, reliability, and backward compatibility for intelligent document processing workflows.
