SAP RFC Connector: Feature, Fix, and Speed Optimization
The SAP RFC Connector has been updated in OPA 27.1 with key improvements to IDoc functionality, metadata performance, and support for custom extensions.
- IDoc Trigger Enhancement – The description of basic IDoc types now includes associated partner numbers and partner types for improved visibility.
- Performance Optimization – Improved batch trigger performance by loading IDoc segments once per batch instead of per record, reducing metadata refresh times.
- Bug Fix for Custom IDocs – Updated logic now ensures custom IDoc extensions correctly appear in the picklist, covering edge cases introduced in earlier versions.
