OPA 31.1 Release with Database, Oracle, and Kafka Enhancements
This minor release brings reliability and performance improvements across database connectivity, file operations, and Kafka authentication.
- Database: Improved asynchronous task management for more consistent performance under load.
- Database: Resolved a Hikari Connection Pool error that occurred when using secrets.
- Oracle: Increased maximum BLOB size to 50MB.
- On-prem files: Enhanced timeout handling for list file operations.
- Kafka: Fixed bug for OAUTHBEARER SASL mechanism (affected OPA 31.0).

OPA 31.0 Release with Enhanced Messaging and SAP Improvements
OPA 31.0 brings expanded messaging capabilities, improved SAP compatibility, and security and infrastructure upgrades.
- New JMS action: Receive messages directly from a queue using the new JMS Receive message action.
- New Kafka action: Publish messages in bulk with the new Kafka Publish messages batch action.
- SAP improvements: Added compatibility with SAP JCo 3.1.13, improved IDoc handler scalability, and corrected IDoc Status message formatting with proper parameter substitution.
- SQL & security upgrades: Updated the SQL Server JDBC driver and refreshed libraries per OWASP scanner recommendations.

Enhanced Security & Expanded Integrations
OPA 30.0 introduces key security improvements and expanded integration capabilities for on-prem agent deployments.
- Security: Option to store certificates and private keys in Windows Certificate Store for enhanced protection.
- JMS: Support for message properties, headers, and Solace with OAuth2 authentication.
- Oracle: Execute Stored Procedure action now supports long-running queries (up to 24 hours).
- FTP: Improved character encoding handling.
- Security: Libraries updated per OWASP scanner recommendations.

OPA 29.0 Released
OPA 29.0 delivers key fixes and enhancements:
- SAP: Enhanced stability in SAP IDoc listener initialization and connection management.
- Configuration: Fixed bug for creating duplicate connections, e.g., in case of connection pooling.
- Kafka: Improved support for Protobuf and schema registry.
- Logging: Added support for json output format.
OPA 27.1 is released
OPA 27.1 introduces performance improvements and functional upgrades across SAP IDoc processing and JDBC connectivity.
- SAP IDoc Batch – Optimized segment loading to improve performance during batch processing.
- Send IDoc Action – Refactored logic to ensure Custom IDocs appear in the picklist.
- New IDocs Trigger – Now displays partner type and number (RCVPRT, RCVPRN) alongside IDoc type for better traceability.
- JDBC Connector – Connection checks have been simplified for easier setup and diagnostics.
