Dataway

The Dataway connector enables seamless integration with RESTful APIs published via the Israeli government’s centralized API gateway — שדרת המידע הממשלתית (The Governmental Dataway). This secure platform facilitates data and service exchange between government ministries and agencies. To learn more, refer to the official Documentation (in Hebrew).

What is Dataway?

The Governmental Dataway (שדרת המידע הממשלתית) is a centralized, secure API management platform used by Israeli government entities to publish and consume APIs. Each API is documented using an OpenAPI (Swagger) specification.

When to use the Dataway connector?

• You need to integrate with an API provided by an Israeli government ministry or agency.

• The target API is available through the Governmental Dataway and includes an OpenAPI (Swagger) specification.

How it works

The connector parses a user-provided Swagger (OpenAPI) document from “שדרת המידע” and uses its contents to automatically generate a user interface in Workato — including actions, input and output fields, and objects — tailored to each specific government API.
