Product Scoop – July 2025

Table of Contents

A series of powerful Low Code Apps and governance enhancements have been released, delivering greater control, flexibility, and dynamic user experiences. Here’s a summary of what’s new:

Low Code Apps

Table Widget: More Control, More Customization

Business & Enterprise

The Low Code Apps table widget has received a major upgrade with the following features:

  • Read-only Columns: Set columns as editable or read-only, so users can only update the data they’re authorized to—reducing errors and improving data integrity.
  • Customizable Add/Remove Row Permissions: Decide whether users can add or remove rows, tailoring the widget to your process needs.
  • Resizable Columns: Users can adjust column widths to their preference, with settings saved for each user, creating a more comfortable review and management experience.

Use Case: These features enable highly tailored line-item review experiences. For example, for Vendor Management use cases, reviewers can mark duplicates (with only the “Is Duplicate” column being editable), while all other columns remain read-only.

Display Images Dynamically from URLs

Business & Enterprise

Images can now be displayed directly from URLs within Low Code Apps, enabling dynamic experiences. Use cases include:

  • Showing employee avatars
  • Visualizing inventory stock items
  • Previewing AI-generated images
  • Displaying receipts and purchase orders

Security & Operations

Advanced Project-Level Permissions

Private Beta

With Project-Level Permissions, Project Administrators can assign access rights to users at both the project and environment levels, providing more granular control and minimizing potential security risks. This means administrators can set specific access levels for each project. For example, granting read-only access for one project and full access for another, tailoring permissions to fit organizational needs.

Additional enhancements include the ability to manage permissions through collaborator groups, allowing for faster onboarding and streamlined access management. The new Project Administrator role enables project-level access management without requiring full workspace admin rights. Scalability is further improved with developer API support and SAML/SCIM integration for group management.

Deploy with Confidence using Reviews and Approvals

Private Beta

Reviews and Approvals introduces a structured system for reviewing, approving, and deploying changes. This ensures enhanced governance through mandatory approval gates and comprehensive audit trails. By requiring changes to pass through these gates, organizations can be confident that all updates meet internal standards before going live, reducing risk and promoting best practices.

Whether you’re a startup scaling your integrations, a mid-market company establishing processes, or an enterprise requiring strict compliance, the review and approvals transform deployment into a systematic, auditable workflow. Smaller teams benefit from peer review capabilities that help prevent costly mistakes, while larger organizations gain the governance framework necessary for operational excellence.
