      Probes Tamr's real-time search-before-create endpoint with dryRun. If no match is found, persists the new record. If a match is found, submits the incoming data as a suggested edit to a stewardship queue instead of merging it directly -- so a curator reviews and approves the change rather than it silently overwriting the golden record.

      Calls Tamr's real-time search-before-create endpoint. Tamr searches for an existing record matching the submitted data using its configured matching model; if a high-confidence match is found the existing record is updated (merged) with the submitted data, otherwise a new record is created and tagged with the given source identity.

      Uses Tamr's real-time Search API to find records similar to the given data, e.g. to check for duplicates before creating a record
    • Submit Suggested Edit
      Fetches the current record, merges in the changed fields, and submits the result as a suggested edit to a stewardship queue. Does not write to the record directly -- a data steward must approve it first.
