Sync new person accounts from Salesforce to NetSuite

What it does

When someone creates a person account in Salesforce, this automation searches NetSuite for the matching subsidiary and creates a customer record in bulk. The new customer appears in NetSuite so both systems stay in sync.

Who it's for

Finance teams who need person accounts from Salesforce to appear as customers in NetSuite without manual entry.

How teams use this

Sync person accounts to NetSuite customers

Person accounts created in Salesforce automatically become individual customers in NetSuite under the correct subsidiary. The team no longer needs to manually create matching records in both systems.

Route customers by region or business unit

Extend this automation to filter person accounts by region before syncing so only relevant customers are created in specific NetSuite subsidiaries. Add a condition to check the account region field.

Sync to a different NetSuite entity

Retarget this automation to create contacts or vendors instead of customers, or sync to a different NetSuite subsidiary. The same person account data flows to a new destination.

How it works

  1. Monitor new person accounts. This automation starts when someone creates a new person account in Salesforce. It processes accounts in batches so multiple records sync at once.
  2. Find the matching subsidiary. Search NetSuite for the subsidiary that matches the person account so the customer is created under the correct parent company.
  3. Create customers in bulk. Create customer records in NetSuite as individuals using the person account data from Salesforce. All new customers sync together in one batch.
