Since we use Slack to communicate with our Workato colleagues, we rounded up four ways Slack turns us into workplace Jedi!\n<h3><strong>1) @channel, I am your father.<\/strong><\/h3>\nMost literally, <a href=\"https:\/\/slacker.nathanhoad.net\">this handy Slack extension<\/a> lets you send messages from fake users. You can post as Darth Vader, Han Solo, or choose from thousands of other personas. You can also easily create your own!\n\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4082\" src=\"https:\/\/www.workato.com\/the-connector\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Screen-Shot-2017-05-03-at-14.22.07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"562\" height=\"416\" \/>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><b>2) <\/b><b>I am here to put you back on schedule.<\/b><\/h3>\nIf you use Slack for more serious pursuits, never fear; with integration, you can make your work come to you in your preferred Slack channel. With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.workato.com\/workbot-slack?utm_source=blog\">Workbot for Slack<\/a>, you can easily schedule reports that are automatically delivered to you at your desired interval. For example, if you\u2019re a sales manager who needs to check KPIs throughout the day, you can easily schedule hourly reports. Thankfully, Workbot also allows you to take actions within your other apps directly from Slack!
