Dreamforce ’16 Recap: Working to Bring Automation to Salesforce Users Everywhere!

Dreamforce was large and extravagant as always, but it was particularly fun-filled for Workato as this was our first year sponsoring the conference. A few things stayed the same (like our Oktoberfest party that is quickly becoming tradition!) while many new experiences were had, including talking to thousands of folks on the expo floor, giving a very cool session on Artificial Intelligence, and pledging $5 to charity for every new sign up. We’ll be doing a full write up on what we learned and how we can improve next year as first time Dreamforce sponsors, but until then here are the highlights:

We kicked off Dreamforce early, hosting our Oktoberfest on Monday at the Tradeshift Office. Workato Oktoberfest was featured by both DocuSign and Bay AreaHQ and was full of German treats, lively music, and great people! Thank you to everyone who came – see you next year!

Thousands of New Friends From the Expo

This was our first time with a booth on the expo floor and it was really amazing to talk with so many people about their use cases. People came for the virtual reality headsets but they stayed for the automation!

We’re Giving Back and It’s Still Happening

We’re donating $5 per new sign up to Workato to charity. We did it for every Dreamforce sign up and we’re doing it through October! When a new person signs up they can choose to donate to RED or Girls In Tech. More details here >

Sponsoring the Intacct VIP Lounge

Intacct is a great partner of ours, in fact Workato powers their Digital Dashboard for Nonprofits. So we were excited to sponsor the Intacct VIP Lounge. It was an amazing place to come and relax during the craziness of the conference and the party was full of fun faces!

Idealist Consulting Engagement Party

Non-profits know how to party too! We had a great time sponsoring the Idealist Engagement party, complete with aerial dancers – plus the party raised $2,375 for GLIDE 🙂

Dreamforce 2016 was a great success – thank you to everyone who was there with us and to all our new friends!
